Genelite was recently commissioned to supply critical Standby Power Generators to a Call Centre in South-East Queensland. These units were completed and installed within eight weeks from official order, and were designed and built to suit space availability and meet sound requirements. With each unit rated at 1650kVA, the V12 Mitsubishi diesel engines were chosen for reliability and compact design. The V12 diesels were coupled to UK-built Stamford alternators before being fitted into custom-built silenced enclosures meeting stringent noise restraint standards, achieving 80 dbBA@1m, whilst maintaining adequate air flow and service points. Both generators are controlled by Comap control modules allowing full automatic control, parallel operation and remote monitoring functions.
